Blossom Signature Massage

A relaxing, restorative full-body massage shaped around what your body needs on the day, drawing on classic Swedish and flowing Hawaiian Lomi Lomi technique.

Length: 60 or 90 minutes
Pricing: £60 (60 minutes) / £90 (90 minutes)

Blossom Signature Massage is a restorative, holistic treatment built from two decades of hands-on practice. Rather than a single fixed routine, Ania draws on techniques of classic Swedish and holistic massage, and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, with the pressure adjusted depending on what you need.

The session begins with a short conversation: what you are carrying in, where you hold tension, whether there is anywhere to leave alone. The oil is high quality and unscented, and the pace is never hurried. Most people drift in and out of sleep. They tend to sleep well that night and wake up feeling energised the next day. Sessions are held at ProActive Therapies in Honingham.

A relaxation massage, shaped to the day

At its heart this is a classic, full-body relaxation massage: long, flowing strokes to ease muscular tension, improve circulation and settle the nervous system. The pressure sits at a comfortable medium by default and is adjusted throughout. If you have arrived carrying a hard week in your shoulders, the work goes there; if you simply need an hour of proper rest, that is what it becomes.

Lomi Lomi Nui (Hawaiian massage)

Where the session leans restorative, Ania draws on Lomi Lomi Nui, a distinctive Hawaiian bodywork tradition she trained in within the traditional lineage. Long, continuous, wave-like strokes, often with the forearm, move across the body without the usual stop and start, with a quality of contact that many people describe less as being worked on and more as being held. It is rare to find it offered in Norfolk, and it is part of what makes this treatment its own thing rather than a standard massage.

You do not need to choose the balance in advance. It is part of the first short conversation, and it can shift from session to session depending on what you need. If what you are really after is targeted work on a specific pain or injury, the Clinical Massage treatment is the better fit, and Ania will happily point you there.

What to expect

This is a deeply relaxing treatment from start to finish. A short intake conversation, then undress to underwear and lie on the treatment couch, covered with a towel. Warmed, unscented oil, and long flowing strokes that settle the body. Most people drift near sleep. At the end, a few moments lying quietly, a glass of water, and a slow re-entry into the rest of your day.

FAQs

Questions about Signature Massage

What’s the difference between this and a typical massage?

It draws on two decades of varied, holistic technique rather than a single fixed routine, blending classic Swedish massage with flowing Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. The balance is shaped around what your body needs on the day.

Is the pressure deep?

Medium by default, adjusted to what your body wants. If you’re after something firmer, or the Clinical Massage treatment is a better fit, just say so and Ania will guide you.

What oil do you use?

A high-quality, unscented organic blend. Scented oils are available on request (get in touch before your appointment).

I’ve never had a massage before, will I feel awkward?

Not for long. Ania explains how it works before you start, you’re covered throughout, and the pace is unhurried. Many people doze off within ten minutes.

How often should I come?

Monthly is a lovely rhythm for most people; some come fortnightly during busier periods.

On Signature Massage

"I have been coming to Ania every month for nearly three years now. It is the thing I book before anything else, not a luxury, a necessity. She reads what you need without you having to say much and the room is always quiet and warm."

"Came in with a stiff neck and left without one. Booked again before I got home."

November 2019
"I booked the Lomi Lomi at a very low point. Something about the description felt right. I cried twice on the table and neither time did Ania make it awkward. It was one of the kindest hours I have spent. I have been back four times since."
