Yoga in Norwich
Blossom Yoga is a Norwich-founded practice that serves students across the city and the villages around it. While Ania doesn’t teach classes in the city centre itself, almost every class on the schedule is within a twenty-minute drive for Norwich residents, in Sprowston, Cringleford, Barnham Broom, Honingham and beyond. Live online classes reach people in every NR postcode, and one-to-one sessions are available in person at Honingham or via Zoom. Norwich is where Ania is rooted and where the community began: familiar students, new faces, and the Norfolk light that makes the drive out to the villages feel like part of the practice.
Ania founded Blossom Yoga in Norwich in 2014 and has taught the same, carefully-held style of practice to students across the city and surrounding villages ever since. If you live in Norwich: Eaton, Unthank, Cringleford, Thorpe, Sprowston, Costessey, or anywhere in between, there is a Blossom Yoga class within a short drive, and a live online option for weeks when the drive isn’t on.
Ania deliberately chose not to run a city-centre studio. Instead, classes happen in village halls and beautifully-converted barns within fifteen or twenty minutes of Norwich, which means free parking, warmer atmospheres, and the sense of slipping out of the city for an hour. Sprowston Diamond Centre (NR7) and Cringleford Pavilion (NR4) are the closest in-person venues for Norwich residents; Barnham Broom and Honingham are 15–20 minutes west for anyone who is happy to drive.
Norwich students span every decade from the 30s to the 80s. Many are women in their 40s, 50s and 60s navigating menopause, rebuilding after surgery, or carving out one reliable hour in a busy week. Others are men looking for a steady, non-competitive practice they can actually maintain, students returning to movement after a long gap, or people who have tried faster styles and want something that goes deeper. The community is warm, remarkably consistent, and welcoming to newcomers without fuss.
For those who prefer the city, the live online classes are the easiest way in: a real teacher, small groups, recordings for catch-up, and no drive at all. For those happy to travel a little, pick the village venue nearest you from the list below and drop Ania a line, first visits are always unhurried.

A local tip from Ania
The city’s two best post-yoga walks: Eaton Park in the west (broad, soft light in the late afternoons) and Mousehold Heath to the north-east (look out over the cathedral from the top). Both pair beautifully with the evening classes in the nearer villages.

Voices from Norwich
"I’ve tried yoga in half a dozen Norwich studios over the years and Blossom Yoga is where I’ve stuck. It’s not performance yoga. It’s real teaching, paced for real bodies, and the room always feels kind."
