Photography at our retreats
Limited, non-intrusive photography may take place at Blossom Yoga retreats, both by our team and by fellow participants who like to capture and share their experience.
We keep things quiet and unobtrusive. No one is asked to pose, and no photography takes place during yoga or meditation sessions. The aim is to give a sense of the day and the setting, not to document individuals.
How images may be used
Images taken by our team may be used on our website and in our marketing materials. Photographs may be lightly edited for quality, including the use of AI tools for adjustments such as colour correction, exposure, and background tidying.
Images taken by fellow participants and shared on social media (for example on Facebook or Instagram) are not under our control, though we ask everyone at the start of each retreat to be considerate about tagging and sharing.
Your preferences
At the start of every retreat, Ania will check in with the group: if you would prefer not to be photographed, or not to be tagged in images shared on social media, please simply say so. We will make sure your wishes are respected throughout the day, and will let fellow participants know so they can be mindful too.
You do not need to explain why, and there is no pressure either way.
Requesting removal of an image
If you have any concerns after the event, or would like an image of you removed from our website or marketing materials, please contact Ania directly. We will act on your request promptly.

For images shared by other participants on their own social media accounts, we are not able to remove these directly, but we are happy to advise and to ask on your behalf where we can.
Lawful basis
Under UK GDPR, photographs of individuals are personal data. We rely on legitimate interests as our lawful basis for taking and using retreat photography: the interest in sharing the atmosphere and spirit of our events with those who might attend in future. We have weighed this against participants' right to privacy, which is why we check preferences at the start of every retreat and act on any removal request without question.
This notice supplements our full Privacy Policy, which covers all personal data collected by Blossom Yoga.
