One-to-One Yoga in Honingham
At: ProActive Therapies
When: By appointment, weekday mornings and afternoons
Private one-to-one yoga at Honingham is held in Ania’s dedicated room at George Smith House on Dereham Road, part of the ProActive Therapies clinic. It’s a calm, well-equipped space: private, unhurried, and set apart from the noise of a group class.
Before your first session, Ania sends a short health questionnaire so she already knows your history, your concerns and what you want to work on before you arrive. That means the session starts on the mat, not on a clipboard. From there, she builds a sequence fitted precisely to the body in front of her, explaining each choice as you move through it. You leave with that sequence written up, a short personal practice ready to use at home.
Follow-up sessions (60 minutes) revisit, refine and add to what you’ve built. Because George Smith House is shared with osteopaths, sports therapists and other bodywork practitioners, it’s a particularly good setting for students with complex histories where coordinated care over time is helpful. Students travel in from Norwich, Costessey, Hellesdon, Mattishall, Earlham, Dereham, Wymondham, the Tuddenhams and Hockering, and from further afield for particular work.

A local tip
